St. Vladimir Institute, affectionally known as Vlads, is a student residence for students pursuing post-secondary education and training.
Vlads is located in downtown Toronto adjacent to University of Toronto, with easy access to shopping and restaurants.
While it is our primary objective to provide housing services for regularly enrolled students (see Residence Life in Vlads community centre), the residential accommodations and meeting areas may be available for individuals and groups from May 1 to August 31.

General Information for Summer Housing
- Vlads Residence has 46 furnished rooms available for summer accommodation;
- The residence is smoke and illegal substance free;
- Alcohol is allowed only in the individual's room;
- All rooms are based on single occupancy;
- Various size occupancy rooms are furnished with bed, linen, blankets, desk chair, chest of drawers and book shelf;
- Dorm style residence with shared washrooms on each floor. Showers, bathtubs and toilets are enclosed individually in each area;
- Rates are available for daily, weekly or monthly accommodation;
- Cooking is not allowed in rooms. No hot plates. Microwave oven is available in the kitchenette;
- Internet connection and telephone jack are available in each room;
- Meal plan is not available during summer months;
- Residents have access to microwave, fridge, toaster, coin-operated laundry machines, ironing board, TV room and lounges;
- Parking is available at daily or monthly rates;
- Pets are not allowed;
- No air-conditioning in individual rooms - only in the corridors;
- Resident will be required to sign an Accommodation Agreement
